MRI or Magnetic Resonance Imaging uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the inside of the body. It can be used to diagnose and monitor treatment of various conditions. Depending on the part of the body, the scan can take anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour to complete. MRIs are painless and non-invasive imaging technology. Our skilled technicians will guide you through the entire process and help you ease your anxiety. MRA or the M.R. Angiography is used to evaluate blood vessels and help identify abnormalities and is far less invasive and painful than inserting a catheter into the body.
CT Scan or a Computerized Tomography scan uses cross-sectional images of the body and provides more detailed information than normal X-ray images from which the doctors can see the soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones in various parts of the body. Naseem has state-of-the-art multi-slice CT Scanner with CT Angiography which includes Cerebral, Renal & Peripheral Angiography. A CT Angiogram provides detailed images of blood vessels in your brain, neck, kidneys and other parts of your body to help diagnose diseases and detect blockages.
A mammogram is used to check for signs of breast malignancy in women. It’s a screening tool that uses low dose x-rays to detect cancer even before the symptoms start. After looking at the growth in breast cancer among women in recent years, we encourage women to get a mammogram at least once a year. We provide dedicated and skilled female radiologists and technicians to make the process smooth and comfortable.
Our Medical Centre has 3D and 4D ultrasounds which are one of the most advanced systems in the imaging field. While the 3d ultrasound creates a three-dimensional image of your baby, the 4D ultrasound shows you a live streaming video from the images collected where you can see your baby move and even smile. These ultrasounds can also show certain birth defects which may not be noticeable with standard ultrasound.
The Radiology and Imaging Department at Naseem Al Rabeeh Medical Centre offers a wide range of general x-rays which creates images of a patient’s internal organs and bones to help with accurate diagnosis and treatment. They can detect a broad range of conditions such as broken bones, arthritis, joint injuries and even pneumonia with a maximized image quality.
We also provide Dental X-Rays such as Intraoral and Panoramic which allows the doctor to find and treat oral health problems.
Intraoral X-Rays are the most common type of dental x-rays where an x-ray film is inserted in the patient’s mouth. They give a lot of detail and help doctors find cavities, look at the roots of teeth, detect decay between teeth, checks the bone health of your teeth, checks for unusual changes and overall, help you maintain good tooth health.
A Panoramic X-Ray often called an OPG X-Ray, shows the entire area of the mouth. It scans the upper and lower jaw from ear to ear and is used to provide information on impacted wisdom teeth, periodontal diseases, tumors, and many other conditions. The X-Ray is also used to plan treatment for dentures, braces, extractions, and implants.
